One of the most common questions I get asked is “How much for a Web Design”. My first response is always a groan of frustration. There are so many factors that will influence the cost of a website and it seems most designers are loath to talk about this in the open, so in an effort to be more open and hopefully put off some of those emails here is a break down of how I work out my costs.

I have recently discovered a great script for importing your wordpress blogs into flash using AMFphp and a little script created by Dale Sattler at noponies. Basically you set up an AMFphp service on your site and upload the scripts with your login details included then use something similar to the following to access the content:
